I just started to search for all the related issues (in some way). Will post my current list here for later work and cleaning:

IIRC this is currently implemented in the trunk (to become 0.9.0) using message#numericid syntax. Have to look it up exactly.

Update 1 by Mischa: This is indeed implemented already in r1729 for issue #1756. Thus it has been already available in the latest stable releases (source:/branches/0.8-stable) though it was never documented well. New task on my list... ;)

I think that all these links can be easily implemented in a wiki macro way with some plugin.
For example:

{{ActivityLink()}}
{{QueryLink(QueryID)}}
{{ForumLink(ProjectName, TopicID)}} or {{ForumLink(TopicID)}}
...

How goes the progress on 'file' and 'news'?
