I just started to search for all the related issues (in some way). Will post my current list here for later work and cleaning:
- #1566 (Feature: Linking and Wiki syntax [References Browser])
- #543 (Feature: Wiki links to roadmap, documents, files)
- #867 (Feature: Want more wiki link types)
- #1120 (Feature: Add wiki format to link to a project module, like: module:repository or module:roadmap)
- #2195 (Patch: wiki marco to link to files)
- #2069 (Feature: Wiki syntax to link to files in the files-module)
- #3258 (Feature: Link to custom query from wiki)
- #4179 (Feature: Link to user in wiki syntax)
Will keep this thread updated while cleaning the list...
Kind regards,
Mischa.

IIRC this is currently implemented in the trunk (to become 0.9.0) using message#numericid
syntax. Have to look it up exactly.
Update 1 by Mischa: This is indeed implemented already in r1729 for issue #1756. Thus it has been already available in the latest stable releases (source:/branches/0.8-stable) though it was never documented well. New task on my list... ;)

I think that all these links can be easily implemented in a wiki macro way with some plugin.
For example:
{{FileLink(FileName)}} {{ActivityLink()}} {{QueryLink(QueryID)}} {{ForumLink(ProjectName, TopicID)}} or {{ForumLink(TopicID)}} ...
Try to ask Haru Iida (Wiki Extensions author), maybe he can implement this

How goes the progress on 'file' and 'news'?
Thanks for the instructions for 'message'.
