How best to capture new business ideas in Redmine

I'm using Redmine to project manage my start-up. I enter issues for anything related to the business. Marketing tasks, administration tasks, programming tasks etc. So far I've stuck with the default bug and feature trackers and used the categories to define which area they fall into. However, I'm starting to use Redmine to capture new business ideas like 'Consider implementing an API' or 'Refresh the website layout'. These are almost projects in themselves but I don't think they warrant creating a new project for. However, it seems like a mess to have all these abstract ideas next to very granular discrete units of work e.g. 'move X method to controller Y'. Am I trying to use Redmine for something it was not designed for? Any advice on how I could better organize these more abstract ideas would be much appreciated.
