General query about Redmine
Added by Bruno Antonini almost 13 years ago
Sorry if I'm asking a very general question.
We’ve been using Redmine for a couple of months as a ticket management and task management (and
partly as a non-software project management tool) system for an internal community of around 60 users.
We’re currently running 1.1.2 version on Debian and mySQL.
We like the system, we like the layout, it’s very powerful, highly customizable and from what we see, it’s supported by committed developers and a broad community.
The question is:
How big are the big implementations of Redmine?
What kind of problems, if any, we might expect in terms of scalability if we increase the community of users and/or the number of issues (tasks) managed by our Redmine, let’s say to 1000 users and possibly 100.000 issues/tasks per year?
So far we have 2000 issues only, and performances are of course very good. But we might have a great increase if we start using Redmine for other kind of tasks.
Thanks for an advice

+1 The same question. Also, are the archived projects at the same DB table, as active ones?
