DMSF Plugin cannot add files from external Machine

On my server, the Add Files functionality works fine, however on my machine the Add Files does not do anything. The server is running IE8 with 256 Bit My machine is a Windows 7 64 Bit and can run either 64 Bit or 32 Bit. Anythoughts as to why?

Lastly on the server it uses HTML runtime and on my machine it is a flash runtime.

It works in FireFox so it has to be something unique to IE8 on my machine. Firefox uses HTML5 not flash
