Question on "Allow issues of all the other projects to be referenced and fixed" checkbox

If we checked "Allow issues of all the other projects to be referenced and fixed" box and if we have two different repositories pointing to a same revision in two different projects, will it be an problem fixing the issue in a project and to fix the other issue in the 2nd project with a different repository?
