Is there any debian package planned for 2.x

Hi guys,

are there any plans to bring the recent redmine 2.x.x to debian testing, unstable ?

That's something you have to ask the Debian package maintainer. According to http://packages.qa.debian.org/r/redmine.html, the maintainers are Jérémy Lal and the Debian Ruby Extras Maintainers. There's also a sponsor on http://mentors.debian.net/package/redmine who uploaded 1.4.4 on 2012-11-25, so that someone seems to be active.

I suggest you either contact said individuals and ask if they can do the job, or you create a debian package yourself and upload it to mentors.debian.net...
