Is it Possible in redmine

hi all

we are using Redmine in retail operation,stores are our end user, we are using redmine to track issue in point of sales service, hardware and all, my doubt is we are upgrading Point of Sales Services every four month with new module,normally we are sending files to all stores in mail.
  is it possible to upload and store all files in redmine and ask end user to download the file from our redmine link. 
please help me out.

I dont see any reasone why it wouldn't be, there is a 'files' module for uploading files with descriptions etc. You could create a project on it's own for releases and add a version for each one with the files attached.

Alternatively you could use a version control such as Subversion if you need advanced features like change tracking etc, this integrates straight into Redmine also.
