Estimated hours per category (in parallel to estimated hours per issue)

Is it possible to track estimated time per "group of issues", keeping the individual issue estimation in parallel?

In our case, we would need a category estimation, which we often compare to the individual issues as in "how much time can we still spend on this category without breaking the initial budget"?
