Online Demo in Wiki to prevent test spams

Added by Thomas Godard about 11 years ago

Hello,

According to the great many number of test issues in the production system, I was wondering if putting the http://www.redmine.org/#Online-demo paragraph just under the http://www.redmine.org/#Features paragraph.

By doing so, much of the screens would display low enough to see the Demo title in the first screen they see.

It could probably diminuish the number of these spams in the production tracker. Just today between 10am and 3pm (France), we can count 7 spams.

I might be mistaken, but I can't find 7 test issues in the production tracker today.
There's the usual MMORPG issue (#14785) and the usual MATLAB issue (#14776) which makes 2 SPAMs for today...

Nevertheless, I added a remark about the demo section in bold as the 3rd paragraph.
Thanks for pointing this out.

Actually after some time I guess someone deletes the spams like those.

Nevertheless, it takes some time to somebody to delete those spams ...

Thanks Jan for the bold remark.

We usually don't delete SPAM issues, we close them as "invalid", that way, the creator can read our closing remark...
Perhaps your proposed change will help to get less "test" tickets.

I hope so ...

Actually, if I look at the recent issues created, I don't see #14777, #14778, #14779, #14781, #14782, #14783, #14784 ... Which were for most the spams I spoke of ...

And two tests again ... #14788, #14789
