Simple Repository Setup

Hi, this is a stupid question, but does redmine's repository toolbox actually create the repository for you, or is it just a gui interface to access a currently existing repository? What infrastructure needs to be in place before trying to access a subversion repository through redmine?

Interface to access an existing repository. There is a few articles on the wiki about setting Redmine up to create new repositories: HowTo configure Redmine for advanced Subversion integration

What infrastructure needs to be in place before trying to access a subversion repository through redmine?

The repository and authentication information needs to be added to the Project Settings
