Redmine

Hi,

I'm new to Redmine and have been doing a lot of reading and experimenting with a Redmine VM I downloaded. While the tool looks great for tracking individual projects, and mainly software projects at that, I have a very specific need to be able to get a global or organizational view of projects and resource assignments.

For background, I'm looking for a solution for my employer, where we have routinely 50+ projects ongoing (not software) active and distributed among our resource pool. At any time, I need to see how the resource pool deployment is planned, how far out they are scheduled, and highlight projects that are not tracking on schedule. I have seen a couple of references to project/sub-project structures, but nothing that really goes into this area.

My question: Is there a way to get this type of overview and I'm just missing it, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
