Import sourceforge issues into redmine.

Hello people.
Is there any way to import sourceforge issues into a redmine instance? Sourceforge exports all the issues in JSON format and I can write some converter to convert it into JSON acceptable by redmine REST API but I suspect I cannot simply push it because redmine will accept neither "author", nor "created_on", nor "attachments", nor "journals" but will create everything as if I created it and created it right now. Is that correct? Is there any way to make such issues migration possible?
