Ability to set the date for news and issue comments

Hi, I've been looking for a while for a convenient way to specify a date when publishing a news or adding a comment to an issue.

Is it possible to display a date field when creating or editing a news (or a comment in an issue) set to the actual date by default but open for modification ?

You could create a custom field of type date and use that...

Indeed, adding a custom field is not allowed for such objects : news and notes (on issues).

HI im looking for the same is there a solution for this getting a date field in the news module.
