Redmine

I am new to Redmine and have no experience in ruby before. So please forgive me if I am asking silly questions.

I spent a lot of effort to install Redmine 2.5 with SVN on an Ubuntu 12.04 machine. The basic system works fine now, but I think I need a little improvement on the calendar and Gantt views to make it really useful.

I need to manage projects with tasks handle by different parties in different countries. So I would like to have a way to show multi-national holidays on the calendar and Gantt views. I noticed there is a Multi Calendar Plugin but it seems doesn't work with Redmine 2.5. So, is there any way I can do it?

I think it is a very general feature and should have a lot of similar request. I tried to search in the forum and seems cannot find any similar topic, probably I was not searching in the right way.

I am not good in coding but can ask for assistance if necessary. Any suggestion is welcome.
