Redmine

We have just moved to Jira after trialling FreshDesk and I have just discovered redmine, evaluating now.

One of the features we require is the ability to track a clients assets which was a reason we left FreshDesk.

Jira has a novel approach to this by using their issue tracking system to monitor assets using custom fields etc.

I would like to know what redmine users use for asset tracking.
