Customizing the PDF or any printed output

Is there a way, I can customize the PDF or any printed output so I can have reports in the customer’s standard format for the way they want to view their data?
Or if I could just have someone point me the direction I can find it?

This is a problem for my too. I've done a reserach some time ago, but I didn't find the solution. I think Redmine lacks the proper report customisation and it would be a good feature for it.
