MariaDB support

Hello, we see some MySQL and MariaDB incompatibilities were introduced and resolved in https://www.redmine.org/issues/39437 - we'd like to see what we at MariaDB Foundation can do to remain compatible and generally be a good database platform for Redmine. It does not seem far off?
At the moment MariaDB is only included in the foot notes in the install instructions at https://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/redmineinstall with a link to the issue https://www.redmine.org/issues/19395 pointing at itself. MariaDB is not mentioned in https://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/MySQL_configuration and is not part of the CI tests at https://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Continuous_integration .
We did some work with e.g. Bugzilla recently where MariaDB is now properly covered in the installation instructions, see https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installing/db_server.html , and with Abantecart that now has MariaDB as part of the CI tests on Github and is part of the minimum requirements, see https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src/actions/runs/9012539496 and https://www.abantecart.com/ecommerce-getting-started .
Where could we start with Redmine?
