email notification of a delayed feature?

I have two tasks in my redmine:
task 1 depends on task 2.
I am observer of task 2.
When developer of task 1 changes its target date (because, for instance of a delay in implementation):
- the redmine system automatically change the target date of task 2 (this is GOOD)
- But I don't receive any email notification of this change on my task 2, even if I am observer on it...
Is there any way to change this?
