Redmine update

Hello,
When I first downloaden Redmine I did not get it from SVN but downloaded the 0.8.6 tar. I just recently updated Redmine from SVN by doing svn update svn checkout http://redmine.rubyforge.org/svn/tags/0.8.7/ redmine --force and it updated to r3171 without errors.
However, on the "Information" page it now is saying "0.8.6 stable 3171" (matching the revision but not the version number). So, whats the deal? Did it update successfully or not?
