priority field is empty...

i'm not sure where to set the priority values. i was under the assumption that this was generated by the system (1 - 5)?
this is for a redmine 0.8.7 installation.
please forgive me if this is a stupid question...

Hi, God bless. I had this problem too but found that the field is set under enumerations in the administration console.
