The goal is to limit a specifc redmine member so that they can only see one project (out of many) in redmine.
If we make the project non-public by unchecking the check box in the project settings pages, and make it so that this specific member is not in the list of members for the project, the specific member can still see this project, and go through a list of the bugs for this project. This is not what we want, if the member is not a part of a private project we want them to see nothing about this project.
How can we do this?

Nevermind, the problem was a sub-project was still public, and so was making the parent project visible.
