Report organization with all sub-projects

We are evaluating Redmine for use as our Information Systems project tracker. The one big shortcoming we have found so far is the lack of the ability to show the complete hierarchy on reports. Our organization looks like this:

When we create reports we would like to see all sub-projects from the top-level on down, but so far, we have been unable to get Redmine to create that type of detail. The best we have been able to achieve is something like this:

We are creating the company as the top-level project, then departments as 1st level projects, then department groups as 2nd level, then actual projects as the 3rd level. Tracking is done with issues at the 3rd level. On the gantt pictured above, the issue was created at the 3rd level.

Is there any way to achieve what we want to do with Redmine? We are at v1.0.1 using MySQL.
