Redmine

Hello,

I try to create links from wiki pages to pdf files on our local network. I don't want to add the files to redmine's "/files" directory because the location on the network is currently our dedicated (and well known) location for such files. Furthermore, adding it to redmine's "/files" directory means duplication of the files and this causes an additional effort to keep them in sync.

I tested several URL syntax variations but none of them worked. Is this generally impossibe in redmine?

P.S: The syntax
"file:///// / /file.pdf
worked in firefox but not in redmine.
