Always logged out after small period of time (even though setting is autologin 365 days)

Since 1.1.x (I think). Redmine keeps asking me to login again and again after a short period of inactivity time, even though I set autologin to 365 days.
It makes it very difficult to use Redmine and sometimes lose data that I input.
