How to go directly to issues page instead of overview?

Is there an option that if I click on a project (I have multiple) I get to the issues page of this project instead of the overview page?
Do I have to configure it in routes.rb? Or in some view? And how?

What concerns me, is that routes.rb is in trunk and I can´t update it if I make changes to it.
