i'm not an expert, but i've been able to get Redmine running on a shared host. i had to locate a fix for mongrel and did a lot of negotiating with support and it's up. i've got email working and i've installed a custom theme. i populated the database with the sample data and created a couple projects.
i cannot for the life of me create issues. i have dug through menus and documentation for days and i cannot understand why the issues i "create" show up in no lists anywhere. there are no error messages when i create the issues -- they just wind up nowhere.
i can imagine i'm missing something fundamental about workflow or permissions or something basic, but i can not find it. here is the output from script/about:
