Fetch issues after a date through the REST API

Hi all,

I need to retrieve from the REST API from Redmine all issues for a given user and created after a given date. I've gone through the REST API documentation but couldn't find an obvious way to do it. Is there an easy way to get them? If not could you point me to the best way to add this functionality to Redmine?
