Email Notification Error

Hi friends,
I have 2 redmine server ; (1)one i installed using source packages (version 1.1.3.stable) and ;;(2)another one installed using apt-get (version 0.9.3.stable). using wiki i configured Email notification in second one it's working ;;; but first one occurs some error it's showing
"An error occurred while sending mail (530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. u10sm4937625pbr.12 )"
any help is appreciated!!!
