Postfix and debian config

Added by Sofian Benaissa almost 13 years ago

Hi folks,

I have postfix installed on a debian server with redmine, and up until a few days ago redmine was able to send e-mails normally. Postfix still works - I have done a manual test using telnet and my cron daemon is notifying me normally.

So, here is the last entry mentioning redmine in my mail.log - the last successful mail from redmine, as far as I can tell:

Sep 26 18:27:37 sputnik postfix/pickup[5789]: ADEB025B1D: uid=33 from=<www-data>
Sep 26 18:27:37 sputnik postfix/cleanup[5800]: ADEB025B1D: message-id=<redmine.journal-38.20110926122736@sfyn.net>
Sep 26 18:27:37 sputnik postfix/qmgr[16540]: ADEB025B1D: from=<www-data@sputnik.sfyn.net>, size=4517, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Sep 26 18:27:38 sputnik postfix/smtp[5803]: ADEB025B1D: to=<sfyn@riot-nrrd.info>, relay=mail.koumbit.net[209.44.112.66]:25, delay=1.1, delays=0.49/0.01/0.38/0.21, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as 739EDE80E36)
Sep 26 18:27:38 sputnik postfix/qmgr[16540]: ADEB025B1D: removed

I am not sure where to go - no mentions in my redmine logs of sent mails. A test mail sent this morning does not show up in the logs, so I am pretty sure it never made it to postfix.

Here is my email.yml, in its entirety:

production:
  delivery_method: :sendmail

As an extra fun bonus problem, the production.log for my redmine install does not appear to have been updated since sept. 22nd.

And nevermind. Turns out the stealth mode plugin blocks test emails, too...
