How do I tickle Redmine to use a new repository?
Added by Avery Chan about 13 years ago
We needed to modify the SVN repos that a Redmine project was linked to. We had to change the author names. We'd like to remap the SVN names to the Redmine user names. At the repository/committers
screen, I select the 'Update' button. Redmine reports that the update was successful but the old SVN author names are still there.
How do I force Redmine to update itself?

There is a delete button on that page. Use that (it doesn't delete the repository). Then relink the project to said repository. Click on the main repository tab (not 'Settings' -> 'Repository') to refresh the repository. This will take some time depending on the size of your repository.
