Can somebody explain why back_url is used in the redirection to the login page and what is the effect of it? How to manipulate this in the case of a reverse proxy, don't change or change? The link look like:

http://my.internal.server/redmine/login?back_url=http%3A%2F%2Fmy.internal.server%2Fredmine%2F
