custom field type version and cross project versions

Greetings,

I just upgraded to 1.2.1 and have a question about the version type for the custom fields. I have a two projects. There are some shared versions and some not. But when I added a new custom field that was of type version I did not see the shared version in both projects. Is that a bug or a known limitation?

e.g. For Project A and B there is a target versions of A1 which is shared with all projects and A2 is just in project A. The custom field when looked at from Project B does not have A1 in the list of versions.

It looks like #8615 solves this and is now out in 1.2.2.
