Redmine

Hi,

Had this problem for a while now, still can't figure it out.

Upon first loading, redmine takes forever to show up, sometimes up to 30 (!) seconds. After this long "warm-up", it runs pretty smooth. However, after a few minutes of idle time, the 30 seconds loading time are back. I've found a few other people having similar problems but I have yet to find a solution.

From the server point of view, there isn't anything happening at all during the long loading time and suddenly the page pops up. Apache, Passenger, Redmine then all show the page request in their logs, all with little to no processing time.

Anyone got a pointer :>?
