HOWTO: upgrade from 1.3.3 to 1.4.1 (svn method)

i wrote this mini howto for upgrade from 1.3.3 to 1.4.1, I hope that is helpful

Important!
In some cases, certain plugins can't work properly, is recommended upgrade any plugin previous to upgrade Redmine.
If any plugin does not have a compatible versión with Redmine 1.4.1 is recommended uninstall before to upgrade Redmine.
First step: Backup¶
:~# mysqldump -u <username> -p<password> <redmine_database> | gzip > /path/to/backup/redmine-database_`date +%y_%m_%d`.gz :~# tar -cvzf /path/to/backup/redmine-files_`date +%y_%m_%d`.gz /var/lib/redmine/files
Install dependencies¶
server:~# cd /var/lib/redmine/ server:~# gem install bundler server:~# gem install rdoc -v=2.4.2 server:~# gem install sqlite3 -v=1.3.6 server:~# gem install rmagick -v=2.13.1 server:~# aptitude install libmysqlclient-dev libmysql-ruby libdbd-mysql-ruby1.8 libdbd-mysql-ruby libmagick9-dev libpq-dev libsqlite3-dev -y

Change SVN url on local copy¶
server:~# cd /var/lib/redmine server:~# svn switch http://redmine.rubyforge.org/svn/branches/1.4-stable * * * * server:~# Checked out revision 9656.
Execute bundle¶
server:~# /var/lib/gems/1.8/bin/bundle install --without development production
Update database, plugins database and clear cache¶
server:~# rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=production server:~# rake db:migrate_plugins RAILS_ENV=production server:~# rake tmp:cache:clear server:~# tmp:sessions:clear
Finally, restart Apache and verified if Redmine is upgraded
