We have a large number of stories within our projects and we currently use the search facility to find relevant stories. The only issue with this method is that the search returns closed stories, which we do not want to display by default.

Is it possible to modify the search to not return these stories by default or does anyone know of any search plugins out there which allows the search to be customised?
