Redmin 2.0.3 with cPanel

Added by Florent . about 12 years ago

Hi,

I created an account with the respectivly subdomain. (redmine and redmine.mydomain.com)

I just followed the redmine installation tutorial. (http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineInstall)
Once arrived to the step 9, its going bad...
When I start webrick, I couldnt access to the application web page with redmine.mydomain.com:3000

After some search. I follow this tutorial (http://adil.az/uncategorized/installing-redmine-on-cpanel/)
but after running /scripts/installruby I got a warning message:

Rails 3 has been detected on your system. Rails 3 is not supported at this time. Would you like to remove it and install a supported version of rails?

and during the install I got some error like:

Fetching: sqlite3-1.3.6.gem (100%)
Building native extensions. This could take a while...
ERROR: Error installing sqlite3:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

        /usr/bin/ruby extconf.rb --with-sqlite3-include=/usr/local/include --with-sqlite3-lib=/usr/local/lib
checking for sqlite3.h... no
sqlite3.h is missing. Try 'port install sqlite3 +universal'
or 'yum install sqlite-devel' and check your shared library search path (the
location where your sqlite3 shared library is located).
*** extconf.rb failed ***
