Importing data from Basecamp?

Hello,

I am implementing Redmine at the new company I am at. They are currently using Basecamp and the data contained in the whiteboards needs to be converted over. I know that Basecamp provides an XML export feature. Is there an sane method of importing the XML basecamp data into Redmine?
