Update to Redmine 2 with aptitude

Hi all,

I'm not very involved into Ruby. I guess that was the reason I installed Redmine via the Debian package manage (aptitude).

ii  redmine                                                1.0.1-2                                                flexible project management web application

I just saw that there has been an update to version 2 which has a feature (tree view in gantt) I need urgently.

Is there a possibility to update redmine via aptitude? Or do I have to setup the new version from scratch and migrate all data from my old version (wikis, etc.) manually?

Best to set it up from scratch, especially for Debian, you'll probably be waiting months if not more for Redmine to make it into stable, and running experimental will give you nightmares.
