Change outgoing E-Mail template

In setting you can change the subject and the footer for notification emails.
I would like to change the beginning of the mail to include some marker like

$MARKER $MARKER $MARKER

... main content of mail goes here ...

$ FOOTER

I want to do this, so that when someone replies to the mail and writes TOFU
("Text Over, Fullquote Under") and the mail becomes this:

Some short comment...

Original Mail:
> $MARKER $MARKER $MARKER
> 
> ... main content of mail goes here ...
> 
> $ FOOTER

I want to drop everything below the marker...

I found out that the part of the mail above the mail content is called "header" in Redmine, even so it is not an E-Mail header.
I got it working this way...
