How to assign Dev and QA the same task

Hi all,
Searched the repository and did not find a concluded reply. Therefore decided to ask here and obtain a right information.
I would like to assign one task such as one feature to Developer and then once it is done by developer, he would assign it to QA.
How you guys do this?
We are creating 3 tasks for the same purpose and it is very crude method.
Parent Task1
Dev_Task1
QA_Task1
Dev_task1 is assigned to a developer whereas QA_Task1 is assigned to a QA.
Please help!!
