Converting Users to LDAP

Hello,
I started with about 150 users or so around the world. We are now going through the process of centralizing our LDAP and other things. Is there a way to convert these users to authenticate against LDAP? I would rather not have to go through the process of having all the users reregister and reassign them to projects, etc.
