How to set "Target Version" and where to define possible values for version

Hi there,
I've just installed redmine for evaluation purposes and stumbled across a slight problem.
After creating a issue I can see, there are fields for "Target version" and "Category" but
I can't set its values during creation. I didn't hide it under "Administration - Workflow
- Field permissions", so I wonder why I can't set it during creation or during updating/editing
the ticket. Any suggestions?
So I tried to introduce a custom field of type "Version", which is shown and can be set/edited
just fine, but I haven't figured out, where to set possible values for the version. Did I
overlook something obvious?

I knew it. As soon as I post the question in the forum I figure it out.
Before defining possible versions in the project settings, it is not
displayed in the ticket creation/editing pages.
Sorry for cluttering up the forum.
