Question on upgrading from 2.2.3 to (either) 2.2.4 or 2.3.0
Added by John Reynolds almost 12 years ago
Hello,
I'm sorry if this is a rather dumb question, but since Redmine started going to this two-release cycle such as 2.2.x and 2.3.x for example, I'm never quite sure what path to take.
For example, I'm running 2.2.3 stable. There's nothing in particular I need from the upcoming 2.2.4 release - I could wait for 2.3.0. But when upgrading, I'm never sure if I need to go through the steps of upgrading first to 2.2.4 and then 2.3.0, or can I just upgrade from 2.2.3 to 2.3.0 and gain the patches applied in 2.2.4?
Thanks everyone,

A release incorporates changes from previous versions, you can go from 2.2.3 to 2.3.0.
