Attachments lost

Hello I just updated bitnami redmine (win32) from 2.1.0 to 2.3.1 , everything is ok (db, migrations,etc..)
except that the attachments don't work anymore (I get a 404 error on download).
I have copied the apps/redmine/files directory (as I previously did).
Is something required in this new version to work with the existing attachments?
I have read that now the attachment are stored using a different structure, but what about the older ones?

sorry, I didn't notice that the "files" dir was moved in the htdocs folder too
