How can I define which users an issue can be assigned to?

Added by Eric Palmitesta over 11 years ago

This might be a silly question but...

I want to assign an issue to any member associated with the project, however I only have a few options (seems like just users with the Developer role, and the user with the Reporter role who created the issue). What settings do I need to change to be able to assign the issue to anyone? I've been through the Administration pages and can't find the difference between the Developer and Reporter role that would allow me to do this.

I'm running redmine 2.0.3.stable.

This was indeed a silly question. I need to work more in the morning, and less in the afternoon :)

In Administration -> Roles and Permissions, after selecting a role (e.g. Reporter), check the box labelled "Issues can be assigned to this role".
