How to set a field in a form through the URL itself

first post on here :)
i hope i'm not duplicating anything but i was not able to find any answer yet...

Let's say i want to grab a link through which i can automatically set the values of some fields

Example: i want to create a new issue in project 123 setting the assignee, the priority and the custom field 'type'

Is it possible to do something like: https://myredmine.com/projects/xxx/issues/new&assignee=delfo&priority=low&type=request ???
