Roadmap does not update until the user checks the repository

Just updated to the Redmine 2.2.4.stable and I am experiencing an odd problem. When closing a redmine task via subversion (fixes #xxxx), the roadmap for the project does not get updated. To update the roadmap, the user has to click the repository link for the project and then go back to the roadmap. The repository shows the (#xxxx) correctly.
Anyone have any ideas?
