Redmine

I have just installed Redmine V2.4.1 on Ubuntu Kylin VM. I am testing this tool and I'm having difficulty with one of our requirements. We are creating custom priorities that we need to show up on the Issues tab of a project with a specific color for each priority. When a High priority is selected, then this Priority should reflect in RED for instance. I have seen many posts of users attempting to color code according to priority and/or trackers but they seem to be using default trackers and values (http://www.redmine.org/issues/4967). Will it be necessary to develop a patch for this issue or is there any other method for color coding according to priority (custom). All help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.
