We have been using Redmine for a couple of months in our organization and we had to migrate our MySQL database (installed via bitnami redmine stack) to PostgreSQL due to some regulations. I have read posts regarding this issue (along with a couple of success stories); however, the solutions seems to be for older versions of MySQL and PostgreSQL. Please see below for the versions of the DBMSs that we are currently using.
Redmine 2.3.2 on MySQL 5.5.32
PostgreSQL 9.3.3 (the database that we need to switch, optionnaly we can swith to 9.2.x as well.)
Obviously, we both would like to transfer/migrate both data and the schema of the MySQL database without affecting the current status of our Redmine instance.
Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
