BitNami redmine connection time out

Whenever I do anything on the redmine system I set up, that is create or edit settings or projects or really whatever, the connection times out. It creates the project or changes the settings like it should but it has to be refreshed in order to see that it created those changes. Any help here? I am using a windows 2008 server.
